All About Birds Nature Hike

Date:  Tuesday, May 22, 2012
Place:  Verona Public Library
Time:  6:00pm to 8:00pm


Speaker:  Dee Wylie from the Madison Audubon Society will give a presentation and short hike around the library.  Also, learn how to use binoculars.  Wear appropriate shoes and if you have binoculars, bring them along.

2012 Baraboo Circus Heritage Camporee

Date:  May 18, 19, and 20, 2012
Place: Baraboo  Fairgrounds and Circus World Museum, Barbaoo, WI

Use your pass you earned from Popcorn sales or camp for the whole weekend for $17.00 or $15.00 for only Saturday.  See see link for more details, video, and photos.Baraboo Circus Heritage Camporee.  Lots of activites and fun things to do.  Register by May 7.  Late fees charged after that date.

Topic:  Advancement Ceremony for Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos to advance to next rank.  Please wear your Class A Uniform.

                     - See the new Pack T-Shirts and orders will be taken.  Cost is $10.00 a shirt for a nice poly blend shirt that is cool in the summer.
                     - Old T-Shirts will be sold at discounted prices - sizes are limited.

         

Earth Day Conservation Project

Date:  Friday, April 20, 2012
Time:  6pm to 8pm
Where:  Prairie Moraine County Park
              1970 cty Hwy PB, Verona, WI

Project:  Spreading seeds in the park.  Hike 10-15 minutes to the spot and back.  If it is muddy, please bring boots.  We will still meet if it is lightly raining.



Who:  Scouts, siblings, and friends are all welcome.

Cost:  Helping our planet Earth is always free!

Scouting for Food

Verona Cub Scout Pack will distribute flyers to hang on doors from April 14 to April 16.  The Verona Boy Scout Troop 349 will pick up the donated food on Saturday, April 21, 2012.  The flyers and maps (the area assigned to each scout) will be distributed at the DEN level.  Watch for more information.

2012 March - Annual Blue and Gold Crossover Banquet

Friday, March 16, 2012    Note:  Friday Date - Crossover banquet for Webelos to crossover to Boy Scouts.    This event replaces the March monthly meeting.

Place:  Fitchburg Community Center
           5510 Lacy Road
           Fitchburg, WI

Time:  6:00pm to 8:00pm.
All are welcome to attend.  Dinner is served.

Crossover Bridge.  Each Webelo Scout paints a board to place on the bridge.   The Webelo Scout "crosses the bridge" and is greeted by the Boy Scouts.
